Woman on Red Couch

This painting is based on the sketch Art Jonker made of a woman's torso (only) as she relaxed comfortably on a couch. She was fully clothed, but Art had not yet satisfied his desire to master painting the human body. He drew in the lower body to complete a picture of careless luxury. The subject may be asleep, in the midst of a pleasant dream, or awake having been unable to resist a dive on the plush couch.
